Lead by our General Manager Francesco Brusa and under the culinary supervision of the Group Culinary Director, Francesco Guarracino with Dubai-trained Chef Giandonato Tafuri, Roberto’s presents a truly cosmopolitan experience that showcases contemporary and high-end Italian cuisine. Expect cocktails crafted by world-class mixologists and thoughtfully constructed contemporary Italian dishes, all with unmatched service and a fine attention to detail.

Meet the Chef

Coming from a family of fishmongers and restauranteurs where he fell in love with his craft. Chef Giandonato followed in the footstep of his family and embarked in a journey of culinary exploration; from London to New Zealand, passing through Taipei, the UAE, Montenegro and now in Doha.

The journey allowing him to develop his culinary philosophy which is based on the luxury of simplicity by procuring the best ingredient and allowing them to shine in the preparations.

As he is crafting the menu of Roberto’s Doha, Chef Giandonato likes to prioritize sustainability in his choice of ingredients to bring genuine Italian dining with a modern touch.
